The annual Car Raffle is a long-standing tradition at Mercy Regional College. It has been a significant contributor to the funding of essential learning resources, facilities and equipment for our students over the past 49 years.

2024 Raffle FAQ
Where and how can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available both online at the top of this page (using trybooking) and via paper forms. Visit www.mercy.vic.edu.au/community/car-raffle/ to purchase online (credit card only).
Paper forms are available from many local shops and events, and a book of 5 tickets will be sent to every family (cash, cheque and credit card available). 1 paper form per ticket in the draw. The number displayed on the paper form is for office reference only and is not necessarily your number in the digital draw.
Why has the ticket price changed to $20?
In 2024 there has been a significant increase in the costs of running the raffle and the ever-increasing cost of school resources. For the first time ever, we have had to raise the cost of tickets. The positive for our loyal raffle supporters is the much higher value of the supporting prizes and Early Bird prize.
I have filled in a paper form, what now?
If the paper form is in a local shop or at an event, MRC staff will collect it and enter your details in the digital draw. If it is on a book sent out to families, please return it to the MRC office in Camperdown together with cash/cheque or card details by November 28 to ensure it is entered in the draw.
How do I enter the Early Bird Draw?
To be eligible for entry in the Early Bird Draw, you must purchase a book of 5 tickets by 7pm on 26 October. Paper forms should be submitted by 23 October to ensure they are entered in the draw.
What happens if I win the Early Bird Draw but don’t have a student attending Mercy Regional College?
Prizes are not redeemable for cash. You can gift or resell the College Fee Voucher to a person with a College fee account. If you do not know anyone who attends the College, you may like to donate the Fee Voucher as a scholarship to be awarded to a student for the 2025 school year.
If I buy tickets online, do I need to complete the paper ticket book I received in the mail?
No. We recommend purchasing your tickets online, but you can complete the paper tickets if you’re unable to do so.
Can I assign the names of my family members to each ticket in one transaction?
Yes. Both the online and paper methods allow individual names and contact numbers to be assigned to each separate ticket.
Can the prizes be transferred or exchanged for cash?
No. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Where and when will the prizes be drawn?
The major prizes will be drawn at 12.30pm on Tuesday 3 December at Mercy Regional College (15 Henderson Street, Camperdown). The Early Bird Draw will be drawn manually at 8.00pm on Saturday 26 October at Terang Recreation Reserve during the Spirit of Mercy Dinner.
How do I find out who wins?

What is the Car Raffle raising funds for?
This year our Car Raffle is raising funds for a new college bus to transport students to and from school events.
How will my private information be used?
Your personal information will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle. Personal information held about you by Mercy Regional College can be accessed by contacting the College on 03 5593 2011.
How can I support the College and the Car Raffle?
We would appreciate any support you can provide by not only purchasing a ticket, but by helping us distribute tickets and spread the word. Please share the link for the raffle www.mercy.vic.edu.au/community/car-raffle/ or follow our Facebook page and share posts about the Car Raffle with your family and friends. If you know people who are unable to purchase tickets online, please contact the College Office at 03 5593 2011 or office@mercy.vic.edu.au to request spare ticket books. You can then distribute them to your family, friends, work colleagues and customers.

The Raffle commences on 15 July 2024, and closes on 3 December 2024 and will be drawn on 3 December 2024 at MERCY REGIONAL COLLEGE, 15 HENDERSON STREET, CAMPERDOWN VIC 3260 at 12.30PM. Details of the Winner(s) will be displayed at www.mercy.vic.edu.au and social media. This raffle is being held for MERCY REGIONAL COLLEGE 15 Henderson St, Camperdown, VIC, 3260.

Early Bird Draw
Every person who purchases a ticket book of 5 tickets for $100 before 7.00PM on 26 October 2024 will be entitled entry into an Early Bird Draw for a Mercy Regional College Fees Voucher valued at $1000, manually drawn on 26 October 2024 at 8.00pm at Terang Recreation Reserve, Strong Street, Terang VIC 3264.
Odds
The odds of winning the stated prizes based on the total possible ticket sales displayed are: 1st Prize 1/5000, 2nd Prize 1/4999, 3rd Prize 1/4998, 4th Prize 1/4997, 5th Prize 1/4996, 6th Prize 1/4995, 7th Prize 1/4994, 8th Prize 1/4993, 9th Prize 1/4992.

By completing and returning a paper order form, you consent to the College collecting, retaining and using the personal information provided by you to enter you into the online draw. Your personal information will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purposes of the raffle. Personal information held about you by Mercy Regional College can be accessed by contacting the College on 03 5593 2011. The number on your paper order form is a receipt number only and will not match your number in the digital draw. Paper order forms valid for the Early Bird Draw must be received by MRC on or before 23 October 2024 to allow for processing. Paper order forms for the main draw must be received by MRC on or before 28 November 2024 to allow for processing.
